Description
Specially designed for 5-string Rickenbacker® style bass guitar projects.
The single coil Retrovibe® pickup is wound at just under 10K. It has hex-adjustable pole pieces and string spacing of 15mm c-to-c. Overall string spacing is 60mm c-to-c, B-to-G. The hot winding plus stronger magnets make this pickup hotter than standard with an increase to the high mids without any loss of highs or lows.
The pole spacing makes this pickup ideal for use with short or medium scale projects with bridge string spacing of 16-17mm. It will work as a direct drop in to any standard Ric treble surround, my Retrovibe SlimJim surround or the standard Chickenbacker surround.
