I designed the Barracuda bass to cover as many different roles as possible and to deliver a robust and eye-catching design which sounds as good as it looks.
The high-gloss body is perfectly complimented by the natural headstock while the P-style neck has a natural satin finish. All set off by the black binding on the maple fretboard.
Sonically, the Barracuda is equipped with a MM-style humbucker, complete with series/parallel/single switch, and a big-pole P-style split-coil. These are combined using a blend control and fed into a Retrovibe Stinger pre-amp which gives the same great tonal qualities as the original ’77 Stingray pre-amp. The range of tones available is HUGE!
It weighs in at around 8.6lbs, which means you can play for longer without tiring.
