Description
This short scale 30.6″ neck is designed to convert almost any standard Telecaster 6-string guitar into a bass but could be used in any project you can imagine.
Perfect for use along with the Retrovibe 18mm bridge and Retrovibe Ultralite tuners. These necks also have a 6mm overhang at the heel end which will hide most pocket/pickguard variations as long as the the pocket is Tele shaped rather than the more rounded Strat shape.
*** Please remember, not all Telecaster neck pockets are the same – there will almost certainly be some woodwork required to get a good fit ***
*** This is not what some people call a “conversion” neck. You will need a bass-specific bridge and you will need to position it correctly on the body to accommodate the increased scale length and the 20 fret neck. This is typically about 5cm further back than a 6-string bridge ***
*** This neck is designed to fit a 56.0-56.5mm Fender-style pocket. This is typically the pocket width of non-Fender Teles so please check your body as you may need to shave or shim your body, depending on the individual pocket dimensions ***
