Description
Specially designed as a replacement for Rickenbacker® guitars and basses this pickup features 2 separate coils, each wound around a hidden Alnico blade magnet, all in a classic Toaster® casing. The lead wire connection is 4-wire plus shield which allows the coils to be configured in series, parallel or single coil modes giving you lots of tonal options.
Individual Coil DC Resistance: 6 K Ohm
Series DC Resistance: 12 K Ohm
Parallel DC Resistance: 3 K Ohm
Dimensions are 90 x 37mm and the pickup is 17mm high.
I would generally only recommend this Toaster pickup in the neck position on a bass as installing it near the bridge may cause a drop off in signal strength due to the wider string spacing.

Initially had this in the neck position of a Ric-style build, but it wasn’t quite the sound I was after for that bass. It’s now in the “P-bass” position on a short-scale bass with an active EQ and series/parallel switch, and it’s really come to life! Clear and smooth tone with a bit of punch in parallel mode, while series brings out some serious bite.
